The clay pot rice truly steals the show—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, it earns rave reviews from diners. Customers frequently highlight the generous portion sizes, ensuring they leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. Prawn toast and salt and chili squid are crowd favorites, featuring crispy textures and mouthwatering flavors, perfect for sharing or indulging solo.

The warm, attentive service adds to the pleasant atmosphere, making every visit feel welcoming. Many patrons rave about the extensive tea selection too, complementing their dishes beautifully. The restaurant's cleanliness and decor have also received high praise, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience.

Most Disliked

While Wok & Pot impresses many, some diners have noted that the restaurant can get crowded, particularly during peak hours. This might lead to longer wait times for food or seating, which can be frustrating for those seeking a quick meal. Better planning around busy times can help mitigate this.

A few reviewers felt that the seasoning in certain dishes could use a bit more punch, especially for those accustomed to spicier flavors. The restaurant's casual style might not suit everyone looking for a more formal dining experience, though the vibe is generally laid-back and conducive to comfort food enjoyment.

We came from London, and this restaurant truly impressed us. The clay pot rice was delicious, with the heat perfectly controlled. Even the vegetables had that signature wok hei.

Had the black kikanbo ramen, salt and chilli squid, prawn toast and brown rice tea. Portion sizes were larger than expected so great value for money. Nice calm atmosphere and the staff were lovely, gladly accommodated the 5 of us on a walk in. The food was delicious, definitely recommend, will return next time I'm up Sheffield way

Warm welcome, clean and well decorated inside and fantastic food. Highly recommend the sea food options, the best Hong Kong food I’ve had in Sheffield. Very reasonable pricing with large portions sizes, left very full and satisfied. I have been a few times now and always have a great experience. Definitely recommend giving them a try. The menu is in English and Chinese.

This lovely restaurant definitely serves some of the most delicious comfort food that I’ve had the chance to enjoy recently. Pan Asian food with a very authentic Cantonese menu; serving Milk tea, Clay pot rice, Wok-fried dishes, Cantonese street food, BBQ meats and more. Based on Milton Street just down from Devonshire Green on the outskirts of Sheffield City Centre, there is plenty of street parking nearby. I decided to take a group of foodie friends, and we were given the “spinny table” in a little secluded area of the restaurant, it was really lovely. Every one of us were really impressed with every single dish that came out, it was an absolute feast. We were even brave to try the Fish balls, which most of us had never had before, they were definitely a different texture to a lot of food out there, but we liked them! You have it on 5 food blogger’s authority that this Asian restaurant is well worth a visit. Our feast included; 🥢Steamed Rice Rolls in Sesame Sauce (Vegan) 🥢Fish balls in curry sauce – an iconic must-have Hong Kong Kong street food 🥢Spicy Siu Mai (pork & shrimp dumplings) – street food traditionally steamed but these were also fried, adding a lovely crispy outer layer with a drizzle of crispy chilli oil on top 🥢Clay Pot Rice (with chicken and Chinese sausage) 🥢Baked Fried Rice (with chicken curry & coconut) *one of our faves* – a popular lunchtime meal in Hong Kong 🥢BBQ Pork & Duck (Char Siu) 🥢Beef Ho Fun AND Vegan Option Ho Fun (stir fried rice noodles that have the char from the wok, cooked with beans sprouts, spring onion and onion) – A very “traditional” cha chaan teng/ Hong Kong cafe menu item 🥢Malaysian Beef Curry Stew – a very warming and tasty dish *another favourite* 🥢Pumpkin Croquettes (Vegan) 🥢Black Pepper Beef Spaghetti – NOT NOODLES! *one of my favourite dishes, I took the leftovers home!* 💷 Spend: £20 – £40pp ⏰ Open Hours:12 – 9pm daily 🚗 Parking info: Close by on-street parking & car parks 📦🚚 Takeaway/Delivery: UberEats & collection
